Jeff earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University – Idaho. As a student at BYU – Idaho, he received the Newel K. Whitney Distinguished Graduate Award. During his undergraduate years, Jeff also spent several years in Taiwan serving as a volunteer missionary for his church where he became proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Before becoming an attorney, Jeff worked in the enterprise software industry as a Business Development Manager. In this role he negotiated software licensing and service contracts and managed large marketing and promotional events.

Jeff earned his Juris Doctor Degree from San Joaquin College of Law where he graduated with Distinction. During law school, he was published in the school’s San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review and later served as its Executive Editor. He received numerous awards including Best Brief Finalist and Best Oral Advocate Finalist in the George A. Hopper Moot Court Competition and several Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence.

Since the start of his legal career, Jeff has primarily practiced in the areas of criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation. He is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the United States District Court, Eastern District of California.

Jeff is a proud father of four beautiful children and is happily married to his wonderful wife.
